CT Hackers Golf League

Hello members; I am proud to announce our first CT Hackers Golf Club League.....It will be @ Indian Springs Golf Course in Middlefield CT Tuesday nights with first tee time @ 5:00 PM......The start date is May 3rd and and ends September 13th.....Cost is $40 entry fee; this will be used for prizes and end of season prize ceramony and dinner; and you will pay your greens fees every night which I believe is $17 for our league.

Hello Members; we are having our last event for the 2010 season...this will be a 2 part event....It will be a fun event and also will have a side event for members who still need to meet their USGA requirement to play in at least one club sponsored event a season. So If you have been a member since before August 15th 2010 and did not play the tourney's this season at either Gillette Ridge; Topstone or Woodbridge then you MUST play in this side event at Blackledge to remain a member of CT Hackers Golf Club.

Remove and Replace Tourney Results

Hello Members; we had another great club event last week......It was our first "fun event" for our club with a special format and just get out there meet new freinds and members and just have a FUN time......The weather was fantastic and the course and staff at Indian Springs was great. We had a decent turnout for an event like this. I put out a vote on a format for this and the "Remove and Replace" format won; where players started with 11 clubs; removed one after each hole and at the turn were able to start adding clubs back. It took some planning and was alot of fun....I will post scores below but first a couple of reminders. First; our Club Championship is appoaching quickly; September 18th @ Woodbridge CC; details are posted under Blogs on our clubs page. Please get your checks in ASAP........Remember; if you did not play in the tourney's at Gillette Ridge or Topstone you must play in this one......Also; we have one more event this season; another fun event at Blackledge in Hebron CT on October 14th; I will be sending out details of this soon. Discounts For CT Hackers Members

We will be seeking discounts from Courses; Driving Ranges; Pro Shops etc. for discounts for our members on things like Greens fees; Rangeballs; Equipment; Lessons; Food etc.. This Blog will List the places and the discounts they are offering. Check this regularly for updates. When you go to one of these places just present a current Handicap Card showing you are a CT Hackers Club Member. You should get used to printing out your Handicap Card after each revision date.
