Hello Members; we are having our last event for the 2010 season...this will be a 2 part event....It will be a fun event and also will have a side event for members who still need to meet their USGA requirement to play in at least one club sponsored event a season. So If you have been a member since before August 15th 2010 and did not play the tourney's this season at either Gillette Ridge; Topstone or Woodbridge then you MUST play in this side event at Blackledge to remain a member of CT Hackers Golf Club.

(18 Holes) The 18-hole "Anderson" course at the Blackledge Country Club facility in Hebron, CT was designed by Cornish, Silva & Mungeam, Inc. and opened in January of 1964.

When: October 14th 2010

Registration and payment $70 CASH : 10:00 am

Shotgun or modified shotgun start: 11:00 am

Dinner and Prize Ceramony : to follow golf

Cost is $70 a player and this includes greens fees; cart and NY Strip Steak and grilled chicken with potato; veg; salad and rolls buffet.

The format will be....for the fun event....2 man best ball scramble......teams will be determined by me...from the players that are playing I will make the fairest teams possible according to handicaps.

For players who still need to meet their USGA requirement.....you will be playing each other in stroke play.....score will be determined by your gross score minus your COURSE handicap for the day.

PLEASE RESOPND TO THIS BY OCTOBER 8TH IF YOU PLAN ON PLAYING. THIS IS IMPORTANT SO I CAN LET THE COURSE KNOW HOW MANY PLAYERS WE WILL BE HAVING AND I HAVE TIME TO SET EVERYTHING UP.
You will pay me when you arrive to the course @ the registration table......$70 CASH please......NO CHECKS...

IF YOU TELL ME YOU ARE PLAYING THEN YOU NEED TO SHOW UP AND PLAY. ANY NO SHOWS WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE CLUB.
