Hello Members;

Here is the info for our first tourney this season. This is the first of two club sponsored events we will have this season in which you MUST play in one of them to remain a member of our club. It is a rule the USGA has for our type of club that you must play in one club sponsored event a season. This tourney is on a weekday and the next one will be on a weekend to hopefully make it easier for all our members.

Location: Gillette Ridge Golf Club ; Bloomfield; CT

When: Tuesday June 15th 2010

Time: Registration starts @ 8:30
          Shotgun start @ 10:00
          Trophy Presentation and Steak Dinner Buffet to follow

Format: This tourney will be singles only.....play your own ball tee to green......USGA rules of golf will govern all play.

Prizes: Since this is a handicap club the main prizes will be for NET scores using your current handicaps. Trophy's will be for:

First Place NET
Second Place NET
Third Place NET

We will also recognize First and Second place GROSS scores and have some challenge holes for fun. (Long Drive; closest to pin etc.)

Cost : Cost is $85 a player - Includes Greens Fees and Cart; unlimited practice balls on the range and Steak Dinner Buffet ( If someone does not eat steak let me know and I will make sure they have something else for you) ......I will be taking care of the trophy cost this time.

Please send checks to me by June 4th......Also with your checks if there are other players you would like to be with in your foursome let me know so I can set it up so you are together. Because this format has no "A" or "B" player there will be no restrictions on this.
