Hello members; I am proud to announce our first CT Hackers Golf Club League.....It will be @ Indian Springs Golf Course in Middlefield CT Tuesday nights with first tee time @ 5:00 PM......The start date is May 3rd and and ends September 13th.....Cost is $40 entry fee; this will be used for prizes and end of season prize ceramony and dinner; and you will pay your greens fees every night which I believe is $17 for our league.

Here is the format : We will take NET score from each player for the night....Your NET score will be added every week to determine your points....There will be prizes for 1st; 2nd and 3rd lowest point totals for the season.

If you need to take a week off you will have opportunity to make up these rounds....You will be allowed 2 makeups....If you miss a third time or more; your highest score for the season will be used for these rounds....5 weeks of the season will be "Fun Nights"....meaning we will have a fun format like a limited club; scramble; best ball etc....Any players that need to make up rounds will have to do so on these nights.....2 of these 5 weeks will be last 2 weeks of the season.

Note: If weather is not looking good for play please be sure to check web site to see if we are playing; or contact Scola or Don....If we decide we are playing you will be expected to play.

Prize Ceramony and Dinner will be after our round on September 13th at Indian Springs.

This Message will be POSTED in the BLOGS section on our clubs page...If you are interested in joining this league please respond to this message or in the comments area in the BLOG by APRIL 29th.....Please note that even though this is a CT Hackers League you do not have to be a member to play....so if you want to play and you have a freind that is not in our club but would like to play they can.

Eventually we would like to have a league in each part of the state; so if anyone is interested in running one either this season or next season let me know and we will get it set up.......NOTE!!!!!  WE WILL BE SENDING OUT DETAILS OF ALL CLUB EVENTS FOR THE 2011 SEASON VERY SOON SO LOOK OUT FOR THAT.......Club Sponsored events and Fun/Casual events ......So by having all events planned at the begining of the season you can plan ahead on which ones you would like to play....Pay special attention to the CLUB Sponsored Events; you must play in at least one of these every season to remain a member of CT Hackers......Though we would like all members to take pride in their club and play in as many events as possible.
