....from which you've holed a shot? This morning, I almost--by eight inches--eagled a hole from 113 yards. What's your record for actually nailing one in the hole? (and, yes, sexual double entendres are perfectly aceptable answers, if they're funny)

60 yards. Came up woefully short on a 190 yard par 3. Hit my SW from the rough. One bounce and in the hole.

it was 160 yards on a par 4 for an eagle. that was many many moons ago, haven't holed a long shot in a while

a 428 yards par 4 in a wet Winter day.
had about 170'ish left for the approach, holed a 5 iron for eagle. |

215 yards 5 wood. 2nd shot on par 5 to front pin. Double Eagle! Best shot of my golfing life to date however no holes in one yet.

At the time I thought it was a good shot but not as great as a hole in one however over time I have come to realize that more people make holes in one rather than the more rare bird of the albatross. The stats are so: The odds of a player making a hole-in-one on a par-3 have been estimated at 12,000-to-1. The odds of a double eagle are much higher, estimated at more than 1 million-to-1. |
