Is a draw:

1) at address, I aim straight at the target, hit the ball, it goes to the right, then curves back left, or

2) at address, I aim RIGHT of the target, the ball goes straight (which is, in effect, right of the target) then curves back left

Put another way, where is a "draw" hitter aiming at address: at the target or right of the target?

For Righties... At address: Aim feet where you want the ball to start and aim the club head where you want the ball to finish. Should start out right of target and work back towards the target. Take a regular swing to achieve this, do not alter your swing on a different path. A stronger right hand grip helps too. Happy hunting.

If you have overactive hands, you become Captain Hook. Then after the round you definitely need Captain Morgan.

Pretty sure it's the same for lefties. Just from left to right of course. Maybe Mark would know from all the doglegs he encounters at Deep Cliff and Spring Valley.

In golf, you draw it back toward the target and faded into the target.
By that, you start off right and curve the trajectory back to the target.

The draw or the fade should be from 5-10 yards off the line, anything more should be called either a hook or a slice.

its a bit more complicated

straight draw - starts straight, turns left (should probably be aimed right of target)
push draw - starts right, turns left (can probably be aimed at target)
straight fade - starts straight, turns right (should probably be aimed left of target)
pull fade - starts left, turns right
push fade - starts right, turns right (some will call this a power fade - Jack Nicklaus stock shot)
shots to stay away from: deflected slice (way right), pull hook (way left) - these shots are also called a 'double cross'
draws and fades shouldn't move too much. anyone slinging hooks or slices from one side of the fairway to the other are playing with a flaw
remember, the ball will start in the direction of the clubface and turn based on path (more accurately, club face in relation to path determines curvature)
