CO Golfers: Grand Elk or Grand Lake Golf Course?

I'll be staying at a cottage at Grand Lake in August, I just moved to Colorado in January.

The Grand Lake Golf Course (Muni) is less than 2 miles from where we are staying. Grand Elk is about 15 miles from us. Is Grand Elk worth the extra 20 minute drive and $15? If I can only play one course while I am out there, which one should I pick?
