Woman's erratic behavior on golf course leads to arrest
POLICE BEAT Dublin police arrested a 48-year-old Dublin woman for menacing and disorderly conduct at 9:45 a.m. Oct. 14 at Muirfield Village Golf Club. Police were called to No. 2 tee at the golf course on a report of a woman "creating a disturbance with golfers." The woman was not at tee No. 2 when police arrived. They entered a nearby residence where doors were open and loud music was playing. Two juveniles inside told police their mother was planning on playing golf. One of the juveniles told police he stayed home from school to watch his younger bother because his mother was "acting crazy." Police found the woman on the third fairway trying to "hug and kiss on the golfers," police said. Reports said officers approached the woman as she was hitting a golf shot out of a sand trap and asked her to put down the club. The woman replied, "(Screw) you. I am going to play through and no one will stop me," according to reports. The woman threatened to "wrap a club around the neck" of police if not left alone. Police said the woman acted in a threatening manner and refused to drop the club. Reports said officers then used a Taser to subdue and apprehend the woman. |

Sounds to me like she forgot to take her meds or was smoking meth.

Can you imagine what the kids were feeling? Their mother is acting erratic, she gets tasered and arrested. I feel for the kids. At least one of them was old enough to realize that he needed to stay home from school to take care of his brother. I know the story seems funny, but I see the sadness in the situation.

I heard that most people putt better right after being tasered. ...Maybe I should get tasered before I putt... |

Well that's the problem. As we all know, there is no surer way to rile a golfer than to interrupt them during their swing. |

Have to agree with you on this one. Sounds very much like an ischemic stroke or some kind of serious ailment. Not very funny. |
