Haven't been around for a while because between my knee surgery last year, I also had my clubs stolen about 2 months later. Well, the knee is about 80 percent and now I'm really feeling the itch. I had a few crap wedges and putters in my garage so I stopped by a Goodwill and for $10 got a 460cc driver and an Adams 7 iron and have been rebuilding my swing and short game from the ground up. I don't see getting a new set until fall financially speaking, but at least I can stop by here occasionally without feeling intense jealousy.

glad to hear from you again.. ask Jay about his knee. Some people on here will sell you a good set of clubs at a reasonable price!!

If Vince would control his temper he could send you the clubs he tosses in the lakes each week...

Hi Dave! Was worried you got more depressed about the Avalanche's season than I've been and decided to overdose on some pills. Glad you didn't! Welcome back!

I'd love to get my hands on the bozo that stole your clubs. Get better soon and ice up those knees.

As would I. But if there is a bright side... I can take my time and get the clubs I really want. In the meantime, the guys at Golf Galaxy have been more than accomodating about letting me use their demos and GC2. Since my knee isn't 100%, I've been learning to build speed thru lag and other things I wasn't doing when I had 2 knees. Combine that with all the practice I've been getting with my crappy wedges and putter, I'll be hitting 2018 running (so to speak).

Dave, good to have you back, bud. I definitely feel your pain (literally). I had a bout recently with an MCL sprain.

I find the best way to treat it is to ignore a Doctor's advice and play golf. Give it a try. The pain doesn't go away, but you'll enjoy the therapy better.
