I'm heading down to Scottsdale for the opening of the MIM and I want to get some golfing in....Based on their website, it looks like Scottsdale Silverado is a good value. Has anyone played there? I'd be interested to hear some thoughts.... Thanks!

Enjoyed the heck out of it. Juicey rough, and just enough holes to reach out and "nab" ya. Where you coming down from?

Thanks for the comments! I was hoping that price wasn't too good to be true! We're coming down from Minnesota, and I can't even say the word "Arizona" without getting the golf shakes!

Ok, recently played this course for the 2nd time in the past 3 years. We got another great deal booking an ONLINE internet rate through Golfnow. I took several pictures this past round. The GREENS are so hard and super fast! It's nearly impossible to land your approach shot ANYWHERE near the flag without being penalized and rolling off the putting surface.

UNFORTUNATELY, they do NOT have a PRACTICE TEE (Driving Range) on site so you can get lose, not even a closed net to hit into.

One other note, we were hit into TWICE on two separate golf holes! I let the M.F's KNOW about it! WE weren't playing slow at all, our foursome played 18 holes in FOUR hours & we were waiting on the groups ahead of us. The Pro shop actually spaced everyone nicely...

Other than that, its in the low 80's and sunshine.. Enjoy yourself... LOL

Landed a tee time on Golfnow for TPC Scottsdale Champions Course for $60.. All day they were running $185... Yesterday they slapped in 2 available times for the $60 price at 2:00 and 2:10.. Love that website. Love it!!
