Just curious how many pairs of golf shoes you own. I have three pair. Don't know why as I almost always wear once specific pair of footjoys. Have a set of Nike Air which feel like bricks on my feet and a set of Adidas "cool" which I sometimes wear in the summer.

I have about 4 pair but like you mainly just wear 2 of them. My other half Joe has at last count 15 or more plus 2 pair of teaching shoes - all Adidas - he has a sickness.

I have 1 which is Nike White/Black. I want more though so I could mix and match with my numerous outfits I wear on the course.

I don't worry about golf shoes. I buy one pair of shoes (always black!) and I use them for golf, for work, for play, for formalities, everything. Sure, they wear out in about 2 months, but I don't like having multiple pairs of shoes... I keep it simple! :-) Shaun I am telling you right now, GET GOLF SHOES! Before the X-mas of 2008 I had always used regular tennis shoes and there's a reason why my best score on a Par 72 was like 125. Then after I got golf shoes, I think I shot 111 and 99 my next 2 times out on the same course. GET A PAIR! |

Yeah but he does golf for a living correct? At least its not like that commercial with the garage full of shoes, all neatly categorized in boxes. LOL |

Don't be a Ricky Fowler and dress from head to toe all in one color, he is just plain the worst dressed golf pro out there. LOL |

When I first started playing in 2009 I bought a pair of Nike brown and white saddle, I pretty much hated them from day 1 because they were super stiff and not very waterproof. This year a bought a pair of solid black, real leather Footjoys and I absolutely love them, wet feet are only a rumor in these and they are so comfortable I went Roy McAvoy and took the spikes out and wore them to a wedding in lieu of black dress shoes. I found footjoy was the only brand to make a shoe wide enough to fit my hobbit-esque feet. I'm gonna play this pair into the ground and Footjoys for life from now on. I might even buy some FJ teaching shoes for everyday use.
