Does anyone have any advice for a fitbit watch that has the fitness applications as well as good golf application's? I can get the Fitbit Ionic for free with some points I earned through my bank but don't know much about it.

What are you looking to accomplish with it?

For me, I tried to wear an apple watch and a fitbit on my wrist while playing - I can't stand having anything on my hands while playing including my wedding band. I was interested in calories burnt when walking vs riding so I have a Polar chest strap I use while cycling and wear that occasionally. At this point, I know I burn about 1200 cal riding in warm weather, 2500 cal pushing in warm weather. My waist tells me that walking/pushing is better.

Hi Egor
Thanks for your reply. My wife talked me into getting a fitbit or variation there of but if I am going to wear something I would like to get some Golf info as well such as distance to hazards, greens, etc...
The main purpose of the fitbit is to count steps etc...
Wondering how the newest fitbits golf application will be.

This is just my opinion, but if I didn't mind a wearable while playing golf, I'd have an Apple Watch series 2 or 3 which should give me reliable heart rate and step data as well as give me the flexibility to use any app that supports Apple Watch. My guess is that whatever a wearable company (Fitbit) produces for golf, it will never be as good as a golf app company which produces an app for a wearable (Apple Watch). The golf app company has incentive to compete and remain relevant in that space whereas the wearable company doesn't need to compete in the golf app space.

$0.02 from me aren't usually worth much ;)
