Guys, Wanted to update everyone on the NGT for Tampa and post some information on the research that I've done. I have 2 days blocked with Tee Times for Friday 9/16 and Saturday 9/17. World Woods has reserved morning tee times and afternoon tee times for each day, alternating courses. Each day will be a morning round with lunch and range balls. An afternoon replay round will be offered, with blocked tee times also. World Woods has a resort it partners with called: Plantation on Crystal Lake, located just north and it offers accommodations and family fun. See link: ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v.. Net Package Prices: $252.00 per person double occupancy for the 3 night package Three Night’s Hotel Room Accommodations 3 Full Hot Breakfasts in our Main Dining Rooms (6am – 10 am) Hospitality Room with a Caddy of Ice Daily All Taxes and Breakfast Gratuity is Included A Sunday round is available on site at Plantation resort for $30 or we could choose to play Lake Jovita (Q School FL West coast course). LOTS of stuff to do for the family and Busch Gardens is nearby for non-golfers. I think I'll come up Thursday night and head home Saturday after the festivities. Any one else only staying 2 nights? Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday Night

Jay I will drum up some interest from the Jacksonville group. I want to suggest a live scoring application to try using. Its leaderboardking. This was developed by a group of guys I know who just ran an 87 person event at Santee, SC this weekend and this app is amazing. Unbelievable all that this program can do. You can keep live scoring for many different formats. definitely worth looking at. Norm

Our group is a bit more consolidated to the same accommodations, so it should make it much easier to set up a fair seeding system for a group competition. The rates are incredibly good and considering the 2 courses we get to play, it'll be like stealing. World class golf facility!

Does the $252 rate include the golf and if so how many of the rounds are included? if we decide to bring a wife what would the cost be?

That facility is a real nice resort with activities, spa and water park. It is a few miles from World Woods. The golf rates I got are cheap. $40 for the 1st round and $25 for the replay alternating on both courses. There are Villas at World Woods too. Some of us found a timeshare to rent for cheap $.

An update on my schedule: I will not be able to join you guys on Thursday or Friday. I have a Leadership Tampa meeting up in Tallahassee, but will be available for Saturday for sure and Sunday if people are staying around. Sorry about the late changes in my schedule. My weekday life has become a bit crazy with my work schedule, volunteering and now Leadership Tampa (which my boss made me do this year).

We have 2 rounds at WW scheduled on Saturday (alternating between the 2 courses) and Sunday may try for a round at Innisbrook. (working on it)

I've heard great things about it from a friend who uses it for his summer outings.

Our group is a bit more consolidated to the same accommodations, so it should make it much easier to set up a fair seeding system for a group competition. The rates are incredibly good and considering the 2 courses we get to play, it'll be like stealing.

Golf is not included. That facility is a real nice resort with activities, spa and water park. It is a few miles from World Woods. The golf rates I got are cheap. $40 for the 1st round and $25 for the replay alternating on both courses.

There are Villas at World Woods too. Some of us found a timeshare to rent for cheap $.
