Jordan Spieth...I, think Tiger Woods will be out for the 2016 Season or Longer. Pardon me while I clean off my screen from the drink I just spewed all over it. Daniel, I am SHOCKED! Just because Tiger will be out for 2016 you're writing him off??? That's just not like you! |

Jordan Spieth with 5 wins including 1 major.

Jordan Spieth has been outstanding in every way. But if Rory is half the competitor I think he is I expect he's going to come back very prepared and focused.

Jordan will have a down year, only a couple wins but no majors. I can see Rory having a big comeback year with another major but sorry not the Masters(that will come when it is least expected). Jason Day will get on another hot streak. But personally look for a break out year from some of the other "younger guns" like Koepka or Justin Thomas. The Tour is getting scary young each and every year. As to Tiger and Phil, Ryder Cup assistants.

I'm looking for Jason Day to continue his momentum - 5 wins, one a major. I'll pick Spieth and Rory to combine for 8 wins and at least one major.
IF Tiger plays at least 8 non-major events, I'll pick him to win once. I find it unlikely, as last year he played in just 9 events from April to the end of the season, and 4 of the 9 were majors. He needs to get healthy, so I don't see him back before April, and that only because I think he'll push to try to get back for the Masters. He needs to play more in order to win, so I am setting the number at 8 non-major tournaments to get a win and three top tens. |

I think "the usual suspects" are going to have a great year like Rory and Jordan. I think 2 Wins a piece is still a great year, but I look at 2016 and see the next wave of young guns making their mark. That kid Justin Thomas was a stud in college and I think he will compete along with guys like Koepka. Look for long putter guys like Scott and Simpson to start a huge decline in OWGR. DJ will win his first major too. |

Well Justin Thomas earned his first win. Even though these are early wins by the "newcomers", the Tour is really scary young and the grind it veterans may be wise to start playing these early events to hold onto their cards.
