Since it's the week of the Masters, might as well let everyone know that if you longed to play Augusta National, the next best thing is to start thinking about the 3rd Annual National Get Together in Tampa. The World Woods courses will be on the rotation and Rolling Oaks is the next best thing to playing the real thing. Flowering Azaleas, winding brooks, and tall pines lining the fairways.

Looks like the first two responses are basing their attendance on $1.50 sandwiches being available and not having a slope rating rather than the fun of getting together. At least LL is on the right track.
I'll improve the positive response rate. I WILL BE THERE! |

How could I say no? It's in your damn backyard too!! Seriously LL, you need to play there before we get there. I promise you, with your love of course layouts, both courses will go high on your list of Best Played. One course is Pine Valley, the other is Augusta. Amazing. |

How about a date? You have an issue with memory. Maybe this will refresh things for you: Sent to:DM3 March 30, 2016 Nothing in stone yet. I know 9/9-11 is a problem so we are leaning heavy towards 9/16-18. |

I'll be working the bag drop there. hopefully I'll make enough tip money from you guys to pay my green fees. Lol.
BTW, There are a lot of members on those courses so they may have a problem hosting our 40 or so players. Might check into it before we settle on those courses. |

I know 9/9-11 is a problem so we are leaning heavy towards 9/16-18. Probably looking at 2nd or 3rd week of Sept. so we make it a full week after Labor Day like last year. The rates drop another $10 after Labor Day in FL and the theme parks get empty. Don't forget that Busch Gardens is a short drive away so that we can accommodate any family members not playing golf. I used to go to Busch Gardens and just stand in the free beer lines all day. |

I tried to get a CEO to join me for a round out there next weekend, but alas he is busy. Business golf is nice because it's free. I promise I will play Pine Barrens before we get there in September.

Is Tampa the next get together? What courses are we looking at outside of World Woods?
