What courses will you plan on playing in 2010?

In 2010, I will spend one last summer as a college student. Although I will spend part of that summer working at Dunham's, selling more golf merchandise, I plan to get in some rounds before late August 2010.

Here are the courses I will be playing in 2010:
Tam O'Shanter in Hermitage (April 30), Hickory VFW in Hermitage (May 7), Pine Grove in Grove City (May 14), Castle Hills in New Castle (May 21), Pleasant Acres in Jamestown, PA (May 28), Shenango Lake in Transfer (June 4), Yankee Run in Brookfield, OH (June 11), Butler's in Elizabeth, PA (June 21; both Woodside and Lakeside), Riverview in Elizabeth, PA (June 22), Grand View in North Braddock, PA (June 23), South Park in Broughton, PA (June 24; 18 hole course), 7 Springs in Elizabeth, PA (June 25), Pine Hill in Greenville, PA (July 9), Pine Lakes in Hubbard, OH (July 16), Deer Creek in Hubbard, OH (July 23), Candywood in Vienna, OH (July 30), Spring Valley in Mercer (August 6), Mercer Public in Mercer (August 13), Green Meadows in Volant (August 20), and Rolling Hills in Pulaski, PA (August 23).

I plan to get out on the course more often in 2010, prior to my final weeks in college.

What courses do you plan on playing in 2010?

Wow, I never really think that far ahead! Of course there are tons of courses I would love to play, but my work schedule keeps me pretty much in the Dallas area--I'm a professional musician/teacher, which means I can't just take a week off of work...I also have to get somebody to do my work for me, which can sometimes prove difficult.

Under my club membership, though, I get to play at 8 different Dallas-area country clubs including my own, and they are all quite nice and very challenging. However, there are a couple other private courses around that I've never played but have some potential connections to that I would really like to play soon:

Shady Oaks Country Club
Colonial CC
Royal Oaks CC
Stonebridge CC (Dye Course)

Shady Oaks in particular...that's Ben Hogan's old stomping ground! I've always wanted to play there ever since I knew it existed.

First I have to wait and see if I still have a job.

Oh, I have NO clue. I can't plan 2 weeks ahead because I'm a freelancer. I never know what's going to happen next! For all I know, I might be in Ireland, the US, Vancouver, or the North Pole. Plus planning is not my forte. I prefer improvising :)

The one thing I know for sure is my fall golf trip to Robert Trent Jones Trail will be Mobile, Dothan and Greenville. After this trip we will have played all the RTJ courses, then its off to another trail in 2011, maybe Myrtle Beach!!!!

Wow, I usually struggle to get a tee time. About half the time I pick the course the same day I play.

Get em', you have the PLAN!!!
