Hey, I'm planning a trip for my birthday next week to the MS Gulf Coast and I'm looking for a new place to play. I'm setting myself a golf budget of about $150 and want to play two rounds down there. Where are the best places to play for that budget?
I found a pretty good deal at the Hard Rock without golf, so I will probably book the rounds independent of the hotels. What do you think? |

I played The Oaks down there a couple years ago...pretty nice course, and its not too far from Biloxi. Check out www.theoaksgolfclub.com. Have fun in the casinos!

I played the Grand Bear in Saucier about 5 years ago. Wonderful golf course! I highly recommend it.

Grand Bear is nice. The Preserve is really nice. The Oaks is great and good price. The Bridges is supposed to be good but i haven't played it yet.

I have been traveling to play golf at the MS Gulf Shore for years. The Oaks is one of my favorites. Super nice people and great course. Windance and The Preserve are nice as well. You should call to see what you can get for a last minute golf package, call George Herning at GULF COAST RESORT RENTALS LONG BEACH, MS www.gulfcoastresortrentals.com 800-681-4057 / 866-851-1701

Thanks for the responses. It looks like I'll probably play Windance and Shell Landing. Any thoughts on Shell Landing?
