Except for "The Trump Shell Golf Thing"- why should I watch celebrities hack it around a course?? It's embarrassing to them and a waste of my time. I can watch bad golf out my back door or look in the mirror. Why waste time watching this stuff?? (I think I'm about to get murdered in this forum)

You won't get murdered from me. I agree with you. It's why I hate watching Humana and the first 3 rounds of the AT&T pro-am. People watch because it's people they see all the time doing something they like. Is it a crime? No. Is it understandable? Sure. I'm just not among that group.

I won't be watching either. There is no enjoyment watching retired athletes play in a competition when there are some great amateurs out there that Big Break may be their only chance at a PGA tournament. I always enjoyed watching the show but that is all over now.

Or better yet, why not do a Big Break age category for people like us and give us a chance to maybe "play a pro-am" or win one week of golf lessons with Hank Haney (that could be a sequel to the big break show) or maybe a round of golf with Phil Michelson, or Jim Furyk or Ernie Els, or (well you get the point) something like that? |

I could be wrong but it is my understanding that the NFL players are not actual contestants on the show. They are there as team leaders/ coaches for the actual players.

I'd like to see a show similar to the Haney Project in which they take some no name guy like me and groom them into a single digit handicap. Better yet I'd rather be on the show.
