Ok, so based upon my observation at the NGT and beyond, what I think about your game.. Really, no one cares about what I think but here goes:
1. Jay- the most complete player out of all us.. he's got a great game all the way around. His college experience shows. 2. Ethan- he just doesn't make a mistake. If he does, he doesn't get rattled. True professional. The Zach Johnson of NGT. 3. Kelsey- self made swing; fiercely competitive; athletic. Won't back down. 4. Vince- could shoot 90 or 75.. loves the game and when putts drop, he'll get you every time.. John Daly of NGT. 5. Mongo- I didn't get to play with Don but based upon observation, I true engineer. He can dissect a course better than most. Anyone that can shoot in 60s at least once, can play. 6. Daniel- Great attitude, like a Rocco Mediate. Because of that, he plays free and doesn't let himself get down. A true to honor play with.. 7. Lee- I didn't play with him either but for one of older guys, can knock it a long way. Plays within himself. Knows what he can and can't do and therefore, rarely in trouble. 8. Honey Badger- great player but getting too bogged down in science and mechanics. just be you, Honey Badger.. 9. Boston Frank- I will some him up with this: Magic had Bird, Arnold had Jack, Ben Hogan had Byron, I got Frank. |

I love it... Mr. Hogan only got to play with us but once but he pigeon holed us fairly strait.. Love it!!
... and I've got something for you HOUSTON.. next time we meet! |

Pretty good, Jon. Someday...someday you Lee and I will play a round but I think Jay and his dictator status will have to be far, far away for it to actually happen. I like Ethan's bio. Pretty much dead on although we'll have to wait on his response to the Zach comparison. Might be wrong but I don't think he's a fan.

Meets the description pretty well actually since I grind things out and Zach has grinded out two major titles that were marked by some pretty bad weather. Meets the description pretty well actually since I grind things out and Zach has grinded out two major titles that were marked by some pretty bad weather. Yeah, I realized later on that it was a younger guy that was paired with our group at Glen Mills that reminded me of you and I remember him saying some negative stuff about him. Put the two of you together with similar personalities playing the same course with me and my failing memory and you understand... |

In regards to Frank. I've played a number of rounds with him. If he's been off work for more than 2 days he's a threat to beat all of us, including Jay and Ethan. I can't tell you how much I love Vince!.. But as much as I love the high praise, Jay is definitely out of my league and as young as Ethan is; if he's not out of my league now he will be as his golf acumen increases.. .. The rest of us have plenty of game but inconsistency is the rule and every time we make progress with one thing something else seems to suffer Thanks Vince |
