After 30 years of golf, I finally got what I was waiting for. 168 yard 7 iron on #16 at The Woodlands Golf Course. We had a group of 40 players, so it cost me $80 in beer, but it was worth every penny.

Nice going Scott. It's a good thing I'm patient because I've been waiting much longer than that. Had one get to 10 inches a couple of weeks ago but no cigar. Well done!!

Very cool Scott. Congrats! When I got mine I won the skins so that helped offset the cost a bit but like you said...worth every penny!

Way to go Scott! How about you describe it. I love hearing these stories. Did you see it go in or have to wait until you got to the green? Did it fly in? hop? Roll in and whack the stick and drop? Or slowly roll and drop in the cup?

Cool! 40 guys with you at the course and an $80 bar tab is petty sweet! My last one was during a college Alumni weekend about 7 years ago. Only 4 guys and it was a $80 bar tab! You are doing something right obviously. Well Done.

Congrats! Cheap bar tab for 40 players. Some have Iced Tea and Soda? Great Golf Memories.

Congrats! I'm 23 years into my golf career and still waiting! I was 12 inches a couple weeks ago, almost... however, almost only counts in horseshoes & hand grenades.

Or slowly roll and drop in the cup? It was a beautiful shot. I slight draw on a nice high trajectory. It landed about 10 feet short of the pin, hopped twice and looked like it stopped close to the hole. Then as I was looking away, I saw the ball disappear! Couldnt believe it. |

Well Done Scott for not only picking a course with a receptive Par 3 but also one with a great Happy Hour too. Really thought that one out well!! Good for you. |
