How disappointed does this make you?

Like I've said, 0 majors this year. If he can only manage a T40 at Augusta, how can anyone expect that he does 1st at Olympic, Lythm, or Kiawah Island. None of those courses setup well for him at all. Augusta has been his course, and coming off the win, last week was arguably the most disappointing and most wasted week of his career.

Don't think he is going to win any majors this year

And did we think Watson would win?

Not at all disappointed. I'm still not sure if he will win one this year but I think he will contend in 2 of them and have a Master like performance in another .....

I think Tiger can still win one or even two majors this year. I made the comment before the Masters that his game no longer suits Augusta National and I will stick to it. His game is better suited for a US Open or Open Championship.

What Tiger does extremely well is grinding out a round. He is still learning this swing, and has already seen some evidence that its coming around. You doubt Tiger based on a bad 4 rounds and yet Rory, who tied him was equally terrible if not more so on Saturday and Sunday.

One thing people do equally well is over-react. He won at Bay Hill so people made him a favorite at Augusta. There was no way he was getting to -10 at Augusta, which is why I don't think he will ever win the Masters again.

HOWEVER...Tiger can shoot 4 rounds of even par on a US Open course and more often than not that will put him in contention. As far as the Open Championship goes...if Tiger gets his stinger he will be in it. On many Open courses you don't even need the driver.

Well then have the "TW" Channel and EVERYONE putting out the "HE'S BACK" Banner after his win @ Bay Hill shut the F-up. TW's worst showing scoring wise as a Professional @ Augusta.

Last year he pulled out of the US OPEN with an injury....I don't see him contending at The Olympic Club....

Only time will tell. I personally would like to see Tiger get his game back because its better for American golf. I would like to see all of the American players step it up.

Imagine if we could get the following players peaking...forget the majors think how great it would be for the PGA Tour if we could get the following to play great golf:
Tiger Woods
Phil Mickelson
Bubba Watson
Keegan Bradley
Dustin Johnson
Hunter Mahan
Rickie Fowler
Kyle Stanley
Steve Stricker
Zach Johnson
Bill Haas
Nick Watney
Webb Simpson
Matt Kuchar

I left quite a few off the board, but I truly think that American golf is on the surge. This doesn't take anything away from the European Tour which has been trending upward for some time, but rather a more competitive future between both tours.

This is just me, but I am never going to be cheering against anyone in golf. If you don't like Tiger I get it...I really do. He sometimes acts like a child on the course and I too wish he would tone it down. As for the Golf Channel announcing his arrival, what do you expect them to do? Its Tiger Woods...14 majors doesn't happen very often...twice and thrice if you count Hagen's Western Open titles. You can hate Tiger all you like, but like him or hate him its impossible to ignore his importance to golf. So when Tiger seems like he has turned his game around people will flock to the course or to their tv to watch him. He spurs ratings and you can't discount that.

At the end of the day you can't ignore the hurricane of fanfare Tiger brings. Its kind of like how no one watches CNN unless we go to war...or there is some major life changing news. OJ's ride in the white Bronco...everyone watches on CNN...Tiger wins a tournament??? Where are you tuning in?

Tiger kicks a club at Augusta...where are you going to watch that happen?

Not at all, since I never expected him to win four majors this year. I think the drama and high level play on tour right now is wonderful!

I understand your point, but I suppose it depends on how you define "great golf". There is only room for four major champions, less if someone wins multiple events. You list 15 players. If each player won three events, that would be considered really good, but perhaps not great golf. It would also mean that they would have won all the PGA Tour events of the year. In any calendar year, is there ever 15 players who play great golf?

A little disappointed. But three this year and three next year makes......uh.......twenty according to my calculations.

Let's see........0 for 15 in the last 15 majors......according to my calculations.

Now you must be REALLY disappointed. LOL!

The more I learn about Ryder Cup, the more I root for our guys ... even Phil on Saturday had me pumped because I'd much rather see him win than Lee Westwood.

So I want our guys to play well, and regardless of all the outside opinion or the rankings, Tiger Woods is going to play on the next 4-5 Ryder Cup teams barring injury.

So what do we want: to win the Ryder Cup in spite of TW or lose because of him?

As for the majors, all we learned this past weekend is that Tiger's game isn't back at that level. The pros talk about being able to do it on the range first, then in practice, then in a tournament, then in a tournament on Sunday, then in the majors, then in the majors on Sunday. Tiger's back to about level three out of six, up from level two over the past couple years. If he stays healthy, he'll get to level six of six, but with him, health is still more important than all the rest.

Well, The Morning Drive segment Question of the Day something like this and it continued into the TW central segment...

"DO you think TW is the overall FAVORITE for the 2013 MASTERS?"

REALLY? give me an F-N break GOLF CHANNEL...your already talking about the NEXT MASTERS with TW as the FAVORITE.....geez....

Anything can happen between the next round of Majors for this year....I guess I am the ONLY person who sees this....

No you're not the only one sees it. Eldrick probably wouldn't be considered the favorite in the Isleworth Jr. Club Championship, much less ther 2013 Masters!

We are so short-sighted sometimes. When the days that big-time golfers couldn't even win one tournament in a career and still were considered an upper-echelon player. Now, when TW hasn't won one particular tournament, everyone writes him off.

Can we get a little perspective?

OK. How's this for perspective?

He's 0 for 15 in the last fifteen majors. He's pushing 37 years old, has physical issues, swing issues, and is a complete basket case mentally.

Other than that, everything's terrific!
