Did you get to play as much as you wanted?
Was it the same old course, or was there some variety? |

Counting tomorrow, I will have played 57 regular rounds and another 10 or so in scrambles.
There were a few regular courses, but I got to play 27 different courses this year. Not bad for someone who works full time. Of course it helps to be single! |

Before this year I averaged about 20-25 rounds per year. This year my boss got everyone in the company a membership at a course so it was a lot cheaper for me to play. I could walk for free or ride for $12 so I got to play a lot of golf. I think that I played close to 70 rounds in total but it would have been more if there were not for the two months at the end of the summer that I didn't get to play at all.

Its nice to have the Post a Score tool to keep track of the rounds. Sixty Eight Rounds for me this year with Eighteen on other than my regular course. Sad to say that there is not much improvement in my game. But thats another story. Happy New Year!

I didn't count my rounds, but I would venture to guess that I played just as many days but half as many holes.
In the chase of the dollar I took a VP job which has me in an office. The result: I get to play a couple of times a week but usually over my lunch and only for 9 holes. |

66 rounds at about 10 different courses ... including 4.5 rounds in one day at a local executive course.

I played mostly the same course typically cause I work there; a couple practice rounds at a course that I played in a charity event; the sister course to mine and one in myrtle beach. But didn't play near as much as I had expected or wanted.

I played pretty much the same rounds in 2011 (49) as I did in 2010 (51) since I play once a week and sometimes twice. Some weeks I'll be in a tournament where I play 4 rounds. In 2010 I played 6 days in a row in a tournament.
Thanks for the post. It made me look at the difference in stats where I improved (28% to 75% up and downs) to where I need improvement (55% FIR vs 60% FIR in 2010). Maybe another question should be: Did you improve where you wanted to this year. |

Looks like 32 rounds recorded, 20 courses, 3 of which were first time plays. Not too bad a year.

I played 69 times, including 18 hole and 9 hole rounds. For the most part it was 2 courses I played a lot, 1 I played a fair share of, 3 or 4 I got a few rounds in, and then about another 3 that I played only once or twice.

Got 7 rounds in 2011, after going down to a 4.7 handicap in 2010, planning on picking up the pace this year again, probably will clock in about 100 rounds in 2012, new goal, 2 to 3 handicap, we will see how it all develops.

A total of 58 rounds over 20 different courses. Performance is pretty much the same as 2010.

I played 78 rounds this year. Probably 90% of them at the course I work at. It's easy to since it's free and I live 15 minutes away from the course. I also live 15 minutes from another course in our AAG group that I haven't gotten to play so much. Though, I played it today. I played a lot in the months I could, because you never knew what the weather would do the next day, or if I knew I was gonna have this or that day off, so it is hard to practice like that, because you don't know if you'll ever get to play.

85 rounds
Over half at one course. The rest was quite a variety. Aiming for 100 next year! |
