hole 3 at Fraserview Golf Course, Vancouver, par 3, 189 yards,ping eye 2 irons, a 5 iron, square grooves, straight at the flag, bounced twice, rolled in, The next hole I hooked my drive onto Marine drive, ball gone.

A hefty sacrifice to the golf gods; happens to me with birdies. I usually pay with a double or a triple the next hole. Never had a hole in one, though. Good going! Thanks, I followed it up with a triple., didnt really care then. |

Congrats on the hole-in-one. Now get one of those hole-in-one ball display cases with a post-it that says "Ball should have gone here."

A lot of people don't put the actual ball in the display anyway. They typically put the same kind of ball, but brand new.

Al, many of the manufacturers offer something when you make a hole-in-one. Check the Ping website, since you used their irons. Same thing with your ball (even though you don't have it, you still made the hole-in-one with their ball).
Titleist gave a very nice medallion when I made a hole-in-one about 3 years ago. |
