The only golf related thing I got was a certificate to play Duke University Golf Course. I also got some cloths and a few other little things.

A kettle style countertop popcorn popper, work gloves, and a yeti thermal mug. I treated myself to a shipment of balls from the Dr, two rounds of golf, a VIP membership on golf now, a matching cover for my hybrid, and a brand new Razr X Tour approach wedge.

The normal, gift cards, a "new" Big Bertha Driver, fun stuff for the SUV, but most importantly, got to sit around the dining room table with mom and the entire family, what is left of us. Priceless!

My daughter's new puppy peed on the floor. Twice!

The good the bad and the messy

An unexpected Christmas for me.
My wife purchased me a bronze statue of Alister MacKenzie, considered to be the greatest golf course architect of all-time. His designs include both Augusta National and Cypress Point.

I also received 3 new Vokey Wedges.

My friend who is a member of three prestigious private clubs started off by giving me a very rare vintage photograph of Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen playing in their Match of the Century Match. Then he followed that amazing gift by inviting me to play Seminole and Cypress Point.

The bad...I am working on 5 hours of sleep and we have been hosting a dinner party since 4PM.

The messy...one of the kids vomited in my bedroom.

Tickets to see Eagles v Dallas on NYE, a cool framed Harry Otter print from my daughter and son-in law, big coffee table super bowl history book from my son, (hoping to add a chapter featuring an Eagles win this season...) a couple of Itunes cards, a very nice Eagles rocks glass from the other son and soon to be daughter-in-law, a stainless steel coffee scoop, some scratchies that didn't pan out, (had hoped to turn that into a set of Miura's) an Eagles 2017 NFC East Champions T-shirt, socks, a Hard Rock shirt soon to be seen at a tee box near you, one of those widgets you talk to and it turns on the lights, nothing specifically golf related but we haven't gotten together with friends yet so that could change tonight or Thursday. All in all a good time was had by all! Also made the wife cry X-Mas eve when I gave her the necklace I ordered from a place that turned a photo of the beagle we said goodbye to this past year into a silver charm.

A few years ago my parents started this brown bag gift exchange. Basically to clear out their house. This year I was willing to trade my large, odd shaped package before I even opened it. No takers. So now I am the proud owner of my Mom's old pull cart !

Perhaps I'll get a bit more golf exercise in 2018 ....

Nick is gonna find his groove, we can handle the Panthers at home and then see what Minni Sota wants to bring...

I'm torn between wanting rematch with the Pats or a rematch with the Chefs.

You'll get the Jaguars, and the Super Bowl quarterback of the year will either be Nick Foles or Blake Bortles. Consequently, the universe will fold on itself and we will all perish.

I got myself a bunch of golf stuff.

Took the family on a 3 day trip to sea World and Universal Studios.

I am heading to Universal with the kids tomorrow.
