In honor of Hall Of Fame Weekend in Canton, what is your claim to fame in the game of golf?

Only guy to drive a par 4 during an NGT round.
Only guy to miss the eagle putt during an NGT round.
The look

I've passed the PGA Playing Ability Test, so I'm good enough to one day be considered a golf professional.

Birdied the 18th at Valhalla. (don't tell anyone it's not a hard hole though)

Made 6 consecutive pars in my first visit to Olympia Fields.

Odds of making a 'hole in one' are 12,500 to 1.
Odds of making an 'albatross' are 6,000,000 to 1.
I have made one of each!
With witnesses to both.
Suck that! lol.

I don't have an albatross, but I have a hole in one and a 300 bowling round (sanctioned). Suck on that! :D

[Not too many people have done both of these feat, I venture, and I'll tell you that there is a LOT more pressure to get a 300 than get a hole in one, I am not sure about the odds, but it is much, much harder...]

2 Albatross (2nd shot 5w uphill 214 yards in and the other 205 yards in 3-hybrid) Both witnessed. Slammed the hole a few times on Par 3's and caved in the sides but the big 0 on Hole in Ones.

Albatross is sweetness. Hole in one would be just as sweet. Keep on throwing darts and one will drop eventually.

13 Sanctioned 300 Games and 5 Sanction 800+ Series... 852 being the highest (300 + 300 + 252). I threw 38 strikes in a row at very easy bowling alley in Colorado near Glenwood Springs practicing. I could roll with the Pro's and did in regional tournaments. Got boring and golf took over. But yes, rolling 3 bills will test your nerves, especially when everyone stops bowling to watch your 10th frame. Knees knock with nerves and that is no BS.

Respect! You are right about everyone stopping and watching and the weakness in the knees: I thought I was going to faint, I felt so weak. I have no 800 series but a couple in the low to mid 700s and I quit shortly after my 300 game (I was getting hurt in my lower back slowly... probably a bad tweak in my swing). That was nearly 20 years ago, before I even started golf.

2 Albatrosses is just awesome! Congrats! I only got onto the green in 2 on par 5s a handful of times (and no resulting eagle from those, despite the 5 eagles that I have in total: 2 hole-outs from the fairway on par 4s, 2 chip-ins on par 5s and the one hole in one), so the odds of one for me are not good! ;). But, as I said, very few people have had both a Hole in one and a 300... Part of the reason why, I suppose, is that it's not the same typical demographics for both activities.

Anyway, you belong in the HOF we are talking about here way more than I do. Congrats!!

With exception of COG and Gary, I have played rounds of golf with every guy that responded to this forum topic. (Will play with COG in a month, and Gary almost made the trip a few years ago to Orlando). And Yes, Philippe is in CAL and I played with him when I went to Pebble.

Have had back to back Eagles. 3 Aces. Played 60 of the Top 100 courses in US. Shot 65 twice as my best score (Par 72). Played rounds of golf with 7 PGA and LPGA pros.

Attended 5 Masters, Ryder Cup in 99, and 3 US Opens. And I like to cuddle...

I hover between an 8-11 handicap and I've played with Jay about a dozen times. Beat him by handicap probably 8 or 9 times and straight up 83-85 at a Donald Ross Course-Jeffersonville GC. He doesn't like to talk about it.
