I'm all for guns, but if you guys play at golf courses that are so bad you need to be packing, you need to move. I have gotten in to multiple fist fights at my local muni, never once thought about shooting them. I would never play with any one that I know has a gun in their bag. Guns definitly have their place, but the golf course aint one of em. Accidents happen. I would like for one person on this site to tell me an instance where a gun saved their life on a golf course. yeah, when i see a dude toting a gun in his GOLF bag, i think seriously about finding another foursome seriously ... we fire at pins, not each other |

Everyone in my foursome has their CWP and we're all carrying most of the time. unfortunately, the days of squareing off at the flagpole after school for a little fist fight are over. I'd rather "have and not need than need and not have.

I'd be more inclined to take a Happy Gilmore swing with a 4 iron and hopefully knock out a bunch of Chiclets ;D

Fistfights and guns on the golf course? What is wrong with you people? Golf is supposed to be a game of integrity and respect and if your getting into fistfights on the golf course you shouldn't be playing. And if your packing, you either need to place in a nicer area, or get over your paranoia. I'm more paranoid over 3-footers myself. And lately the necessary draw off the tee with the big dog. Those FRIGHTEN me! |

Damn glad I don't live where gun packing is a necessary evil. Don't pack but will be before long. But not on the GC. Just think I'd have to find another more comfortable course. Have enough to worry about without adding that kind of mental addition.
