Anyone have any experiences to share on the use of large, mid fat, or fat putter grips. I saw a few in use lately and the feel interesting. I feel like I loose some of the touch, but that could be good.

Keeping the putter face straight is difficult for lag putt.
I had tried all sizes of putter grips with different material and texture. For me the putter grips should compliment the putter design. A heel shafted putter with tor hang designed into the style should use the std. size grip to maybe a mid sized grip in order to allow the swing gate putting style. A face balanced putter design could use any size of putter grip. A center shafted putter should use a jumbo sized putter grip for the straight back and through putting path. Personally I have many putter grips to go on different putters. It's easy to do if you install and remove the grips with air compressor. |

OK. I went with the Mid-Slim 2.0. Practice for 30 minutes today, then right on to the course. I'll report back.
As a note, the mid slim weighs in at 50 grams and my original Winn thin that came with the putter is 59 grams. |

I switched to a Superstroke slim 3.0 about 2 months ago and my avg putting per round has gone down dramatically. Given me much more feel around the greens.. wont be switching back to my old grip anytime soon I have this grip as well and like many I prefer the smaller version to the Fatso but it all a matter or feel. |

First impression of the 2.0.
Well I am not as good at reading greens as I thought. But I held the lines better. Getting speed control and "touch" will take a few rounds. |

I put a SuperStroke 3.0 grip on my Nike Method 005 last month and love it! I tend to get "wristy" and it has helped me limit pushed putts. Cost 24.99, but well worth it.............Golfsmith has tons of them in stock.
