Well today I shot an 89. First time under 90. I felt pretty good going into the round and it was going ok. Shot a 45 on the front and only had 1 double. Ended up with 3 doubles, 12 bogeys, and 3 pars. Didnt play all that well from a stats stand point, but I was putting pretty well. It made up for an unexpected problem....my driver snapped in half on the 13th hole. The lower part of the shaft and the club head went about 20 yards up to the womens tees....dont know how or why. Guess thats an excuse to get a nice stiff shaft.

Yeah there were a few that I just kinda sat back and admired. I just tried to play the holes backwards. Just keep my drives in or close to the fairways. I mean I was driving the ball, 210, 215, 240 then when I had plenty of room I hit one 295 with some roll. It was really soggy out so everything just stuck! As long as I could get my shots close for a GIR or an easy up/down I felt great.

Yeah I am going to head up to golf galaxy today after work. The club head is fine and I just had the grip put on 2 weeks ago. I just need to get a new shaft. Im thinking for the $20 extra I will have it custom fit for me.
