I have posted here before about reviews of TPC Boston and trying to get on for awhile. Well, I yesterday I finally got a chance to play. We had the first tee time, 7am and had the course pretty much to ourselves. Yesterday was the last day members could play before they shut down for the Deuche Bank next week. They had all of the grand stands, corporate tents and tv towers in place and it truly was like playing a practice round on the PGA. They had a ton of PGA tour officials and workers putting together the finishing touches. One thing I didnt know before was they remove the upright yardage stakes such as the 150 for some reason for the tour. The course was in absolute prestine condition and was very challenging. I had 3 tee shots just outside the first cut on par 4's that I was forced to lay up from because the ball was buried and I could not get the club on the ball. There is a ton of hazards and if you are off just alittle your score will really shoot up. You have to play defensively here. I hit the ball well all day but had trouble scoring. I had several lip outs and a triple on 17 from the middle of the fairway to end off with an 86.

Anyone else play this course. I think this place is my favorite course. I really look forward to wathcing the pga next weekend and how they play some of the holes.

Sounds like you had a great time. That would be fun to play a course right before or after a tournament to try and experience what the pro's experience~
