When I was a kid, my dad took me golfing for the first time and he let me drive the cart.

On one of the holes, he said, just drive close to my ball, I'm going to lean out and pick it up. I did as instructed and as we neared his ball, he started yelling "slow down, slow down!"

A bit panicked, I pressed the brake pedal all the way down and the cart came to a screeching halt, but my old man went tumbling forward out of the cart, catching his tenders on the way out.

I felt bad, but I couldn't stop laughing and needless to say, I wasn't able to drive the cart anymore after that... :(

This guy in our group, now picture this he is 6'5", this older gentleman asked him what his handicap was, the guy so infuriated at the question replied what handicap do you see there is nothing wrong with me. We took him to the side and explained what the older guy asked him. Poor guy turned all different colors apologized to the older gentleman, even paid for all of his drinks.

Playing by myself and teeing up at a par 3 were 5 members were letting me play thru. This is a 150 plus downhill with a undulation of a hard right to left, guarded by a steep hillside.I hit a good shot but short landing on the edge with a 70 ft plus putt that broke hard.I noticed a Chiwawa pup{Spell check}standing off to one side.I made that putt online and just as it broke straight for the hole with 10 feet left that dog ran onto the green picked up my ball and disappeared.I heard the players laughing and I was kinda stunned.I would have bet the farm the putt was a birdie.I scored it a doggie.Saw that dog a few days later on the fairway and shooed him off!

haha! That's pretty good, I've heard stories of foxes carrying off golf balls, but never a chihuahua..

when playing a round in Germany back in my Army days, a young german boy stepped out of the woods about 150 yds away from the tee onto the fairway. We thought he was trying to cross the fairway but he just stood there. After yelling at him several times to move but to no avail, we teed off. after the last of our party of four teed off, the boy ran on to the fairway, grabbed our golfballs and ran back into the woods and on to wherever he lived

My golfing buddy hit his drive on a short par 4 off to the left near some trees along a creek, the ball came to rest about 5 feet off the ground in a bush off the left front of the green about 40 yds. He dropped the ball after retrieving it from the bush and proceeded to play his pitch to the green with a old dead oak tree in his way. His shot ended up stuck in the old tree 30 feet up :) 2 shots in a row where the ball never hit the ground. We can still see it in the hollow of that old tree every time we play that hole :D

I think I might've taken that as a bad omen :)

When playing highschool golf we were just teeing off for our sectional tournament and our coach told us to tee it high on the first tee so we dont duff it. well...

Our #1 golfer was the very first to tee off. He put his tee up just like the coach said and then proceeded to hit the tee right out from under the ball.!!!! Ball just dropped straight down. Might have been the funniest thing Ive ever seen anywhere!!!!

Haha, what was the ruling on the shot?

The ruling should have been that the coach was a twonk!

Me and my brother were on a par 3 and about to tee off when a bout 5 big black birds landed on the green. We looked at each other and i said go ahead they will get out of the way.So he tees off and hits a nice shot on the green but the ball hit one of the birds and feathers went everywhere. Now he is upset and wants to stop playing i look at him and said "Hey you got a birdie" and we both started laughing and finshed the round.
