Always a favorite question of mine to ask the community as we approach the end of another calendar year. What was the best shot you hit in 2016? One that'll stick with you for the rest of my life?

My best shot occurred on holiday while in Spain this year. 18th hole, and was 210 yards out from the green. Hit a four iron right at flag, huge divot, ball rolled back five inches. Birdied the hole. Nice, I've heard some people can hit that shot with a 5 iron... |

Nice, I've heard some people can hit that shot with a 5 iron... I'm not that good. Just happened to have one great shot out of three days of golf on holiday. |

One I'll probably never forget ....
After going 8-over in the first 6 holes at Mercer with Joe and Dirk, I was mentally out of the round and frustrated as hell. Blasted a pissed off tee shot down the fairway on the par-5 7th, then cranked my second shot over the green into the back bunker. With the anger level rising rapidly, I proceeded to hole out the sand shot for eagle . . . . go figure. I still shake my head over that one. |

Sank a 12 foot after a guy called me a "choker" and "can't putt worth sh$$". I just looked at him and "dropped the mic".
