Per the USGA commentary during the broadcast from the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, "firm and fast" is the new mantra for course maintenance/management. If that's the case, Airways has been ahead of the curve on this front and may become a trendy course to play.

per the "group calendar," the fourth and final Goat Track Minor Event of 2009 is scheduled for Airways, sometime around 5 p.m. or so

first trip of the year to airways. some casual water & mud, but on the plus side, the rain has defenitely kept the crabgrass under control this year. #16 playing as a par-3.
