| Nothing meant more than those days my dad would take his boys to play 9 holes at the Marquette Park course in Chicago (9 holes cost about $1). That was nearly forty five years ago now and my brother and I still play whenever we can even though we live 900 miles apart. (We are also die hard Cubs fans). Consulting now, so this year I can play more often. I'm lucky my boys (25 & 17)and wife love the game so we have our foursome. My only advice: Stop regularly during your round... look at the scenery... remember why you play the game... and enjoy the company of your friends and family who are with you! |
