| No Rules? No Improvement. Know the Rules, Know Improvement. 98% of golfers that I've played with in my lifetime "cheat" in some way. Whether they "take two" off the first tee, or "just drop one" if it goes out of bounds they somehow bend the rules to make the game easier to play. Play the game by the rules. If not, what game are you playing? There's a quiet dignity in writing an 11 on your card after losing two balls off the tee followed by a three putt. Yeah, its embarrassing but at least you're not living a lie. Play the game by the rules. If not, don't call it golf. |
