11/28/2010 2:01:55 PM OK ... I've uploaded photos of my trophy for the 2010 Cart Rider Cup. (I know that it is not a "cup" as many may have wanted ... but I thought that this was a better trophy ... the cups were diecast plastic.) |

11/19/2010 8:09:37 PM BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TMZ has confirmed that the honorable committee has turned their back against the opinions and suggestions of others. Many and many SFGT'ers have nominated youngen, 15 year old, Ethan "Little" Fisher to the 2011 committee. However time and time again Steve Winckler and Pedro Lopez have boycotted the questions and responses and are now facing serious criminal charges from the FBI in this fall out. "This is completely and utterly wrong," said a :snickering: Shaun Crawford. "What they have done is a travesty. While they may be getting more technology to the Tour, they still need to let the members know what's going on. Hell a written statement that you didn't even write in front of 13 other people all suited up for the first time would have been nice. But it is not just Crawford who is upset with these two. "I can't believe I've been able to work with these two for a couple years after reading this. This is a act of betrayal. " Said Sylla who's seat has been in hot water following her inactivity as of late. Needless to say, unless some explanation is given soon from Lopez or Winckler, the community could be torn apart. |

11/4/2010 10:24:38 AM ****--------------------BREAKING NEWS!!!!---------------******** In a shocking report, Pete512 (a.k.a. Peter Gonzalez, a.k.a. Hermano) has been found to be taking performance enhancing drugs. Members of the SFGT community are in shock at the admitted use of steroids by the long-time SFGT member and host of the 2009 Bouthbeach Bikini Beer Cart Invitational. "I can't believe Pete would do such a thing!, I thought all people in Florida were on the strainght and narrow. Well, other than that whole George W. Bush election scandal thing....." said a stunned Ethan Fisher from his vacation villa in Hawaii. This comes as more bad news to a tour plagued with scandal in the past, with the bitter taste of the Shawn Crawford goat fiasco and the Canadian beaver results tampering controversy (also referred to as "Syllagate") still lingering in the mouths of fans and tour officials alike. Time will tell what long term effects this will have on the SFGT, but one thing is for certian says one tour veteran, who asked to remain nameless, "We will forge ahead and get through this as a tour community. We support all our members and this is no exception. We will continue to grow and......awwww, who am I kidding?? We'll probably just get drunk and sweep this thing under the carpet like we do with everything else...." More to come on this shocking development. |

11/1/2010 6:13:48 PM Does anyone know how many members there are on this site? I'm guessing it's a pretty high number. My point, given that the above is true, is that it seems like there would be more members getting in on this SFGT. |

10/24/2010 11:33:21 AM I thought this was such a great idea by Shaun that I had to copy/paste it for everyone on the main page to see. "I was just thinking (I know, scary, eh?!) while I was cleaning up for the morning... seeing that it's the offseason (for most of us) and it'll be slow, boring, and lacking fun and excitement, IF the committee decides to expand, why not have it be like a political race (short of the egregious mudslinging, of course) that could fill up the offseason and make it interesting? Again: this is all based on the hypothesis that the committee expands, due to the increased membership and thus, workload. 1) Have every member nominate one member that they'd think would be a good addition to the committee. It wouldn't matter if the nominee has or has not been previously nominated by another member. 2) Have any potential nominees that would like to decline the nomination (due to time constraints, conflict of interest, fraternization, whatever), have the time and the opportunity to do so. 3) Hold a series of farcical "debates" between the nominees and see what creative campaign pledges/calling out on the carpet of their opponent could be generated. Nothing truly substantive or cruel, just the kind of random fun that the majourity of us have done all year, anyways. 4) Hold opinion polls of the top candidates 5) Hold the election 6) Say the candidates all suck and invalidate all of the results.... and then the committee unilaterally imposes their candidate on to the committee.... 7) Answer allegations of election rigging, gerrymandering, lawsuits and counterlawsuits... It'd make a fun offseason, eh? What do you all think?" |

10/16/2010 7:09:20 PM Committee - I declared my last round on Wildwood Golf Course - they didnt let me play due to a Friday afternoon scramble. I played Hilaman Golf Course instead - pretty much the same rating and slope - I hope you will let the score stand. Didn't shoot that great - 87. |
