The competition format for this outing is as follows (18 hole only):

The format is stroke play ...everybody will play their own ball the entire round.

SKINS: To win a skin; it must be won with a par or better...One tie, they all tie.

ROUND ROBIN BLIND PARTNERS for the front 6, middle 6, and back 6 holes is played just as it sounds. Their will only be one drawing to determine teams for each match. The pairings are random and blind. You will not know who is on your team or who you are competing against during the round of play. Tabulate scorecards for holes 1-6, 7-12, & 13-18. The lowest combined team score is the winner of each round.

Rule exceptions and clarification:
- Teeing locations: non-seniors...white teebox and seniors...red teebox

- Moving the ball is not allowed, play it where it lands. No relief to fairway divots.

- Taking relief without penalty is allowed from interference by an immovable obstruction, casual water, control boxes, sprinkler heads, cart paths, ground under repair or burrowing animal holes.

- Putt it out; no gimmies.

- Max hole score is 2 times the par rating of the hole being played. If a player decides not to finish the hole; the player shall be accessed the max hole score.

- Out of bounds (OB) is a stroke and distance penalty; must be replayed from the original stroke position.

- Lost ball is the same as OB, the shot must be replayed from the original stroke position.

- Scorecard annotation, each cart will track scores for all players on the same teebox. Annotate the actual amount of strokes taken to hole the ball for consistent score annotation. (I.E. on a par 3, if a player makes birdie...annotate 2 on the card; for a par...annotate a 3 on the card and so on.)

NOTE: If there is a tie, the tiebreaker is applicable to teams and individual player formats as follows. Use the men's hole handicap in ascending order. Start with #1 HDCP hole, compare the hole score. The team; or individual player with the lowest score is declared the winner. If there is a tie, then go on to the #2 HDCP hole and compare the results. Continue with this process until the tiebreaker is won by the team; or individual with the lowest score. If by chance the tie was not broken throughout that process. Then, the tie shall be won with a chip & putt contest between two players from each tied team; if the competition is an individual format...that person will chip & putt. One teammate from both teams will chip. Then, mark their spots. Next, the second teammate with the longest distance to the hole will putt (one putt). The team that does not make their putt, shall be the second place team. The team that successfully chips (1 chip) and putts (1 putt) is declared the winner, if the other team does not make the putt. If there is a push; increase the difficulty with a new chip location and/or hole selection until there is a winner.

Here is the player field update. Axel and Mo withdrew from the event. Frank, Herman and two guest confirmed they will play. Pop Lambert is also on the list. Randal was a no-show for this event.

As a minimum, please arrive promptly for the 8:15 a.m. showtime; the goal is to have everybody paid-up, paired-up, briefed-up, and out on the teeboxes teeing it up before 9 a.m.

Hi Greg.
Thanks for placing a post about a Veteran's Day Golf. Uh, but where is this Golf Tournament taking place? You see, here in St. Louis we have a Riverside golf course and we have Birdie Seekers League. Next time you might want to let us know that it's in San Antonio, TX.
