The course is in great condition and the weather is really nice. Wish there were more of the top pros playing in this event this year.

Week before the Masters is a tough draw. Still a good field overall.

Prize money is not bad either over 6 mil. Like the picture of the 18th hole of the Oaks course, one of the few holes that I have pared. The TPC, San Antonio can be a very long course.

Wait a minute, I should be beaten. That's not the 18th. This is the area with the great USAA tent, great food and drinks. Believe its the 16th or 17th. Never made the center sand trap on this par 3.

I wonder how many of us have played a hole with a hole (sand bunker) in the middle of the green like that. There are only a few holes like that out there. It really makes the green small because not only do you have to avoid the center bunker, but if you don't get it on the right part of the green the bunker gets between you and the hole. |

Yeap, this is an interesting par 3 hole. The course has some very unique layouts. It is a most play course if you are in the San Antonio area... what an experience! |

I've played a hole like that but I can't remember where. I am thinking Oregon. I felt like an area but I hit the green, but there was a bunker between me and the pin. I pulled out my LW and flopped a ball up by the hole. I believe I bogies but I felt worse about taking a divot on the green. In my mind its a terrible design. Don't give people the opportunity to hack up a green. |

In my mind its a terrible design. Don't give people the opportunity to hack up a green. They also tend to have sand kicked up on the green from everywhere. Seems like every one I've seen has bunkers on the outside too. |
