Racer888 is right. There are a bunch of threads on this.
At the risk of opening a can of worms... I like the Trav-A-Lite - Ultima II. Pros = Light, minimal size, no extra space is used, no case to store once on a trip, holds all your clubs Cons = tight fit, you really need to ride (I always do), TSA always checks it since it is a big silver tube http://www.securegolftravel.co.. |

I bought the Samsonite Hardside Travel Bag. It has four rollers on the bottom so it can stand up and also two inline skate rollers so you can pull it. Lots of room for oversize clubs and large bag. It does not have pockets. Bought it on eBags.com Best price I could find.

The only way this makes sense is if you are someone who has a complete travel set and could care less about the cost, just want the convenience. |

We are planning a trip to Hawaii next year and I have given the thought of using FedEx. I have a SKB standard case but with family luggage and a small rental car, space will be limited. Fortunately I have a backup set of clubs to ship so I wouldn't be without my normal set prior to leaving. |

Thanks to everybody for your help. I bought the SKB ATA Staff Golf Travel Case $180 including shipping
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000.. I traveled almost half the way around the world and my clubs made it there and back safe and sound. TSA and the baggage handling folks did manage to put a scuff on my SKB; however it came through like a champ. The wheels, locks, and handle performed as advertised. And it had no problem accommodating two 48" drivers and some of my wife's stuff. I am not good enough to play w/one driver! LOL! The SKB works for me; thanks for your help. |
