Folks -

I just want to say first that I'll always respond to a private message. Sometimes it may take awhile. But eventually, it'll get done. I've been living on this site since 2007, before some of you were born.

Now, to be completly honest, I have not removed a single forum. I'm on this site just about all day every day. But I'm usually working in the background, not reading every line of text posted. If I was, this site would really suffer, as nothing would get done around here.

That said, I have seen some posts removed, and it's generally not the original post, but the flaming banter than ensues.

You see, we are just a small business, unlike some of you may think, and the face of our business is right here, on this website. Even still, we allow significant access for you to get your message in front of others. That's something you don't hear of.

So, I believe it's appropriate that we moderate when the conversation turns into a flame throwing contest.

Now, as for any enhancements or bug fixes that are out there, let us know what you have. We have always encouraged constructive criticism.

We're excited to be moving forward with this site as we are seeing record signups and scores being posted.

Thanks,

-GR

I will say that I have sent many messages to GreenReader and his staff in regard to issues that have occurred ... and they have all been resolved timely ...some even within minutes. Keep up the great work! Thanks for all you do!

While I appreciate this note, we are paying customers. I have automated responses to tickets I submitted but rarely get a real response.

There are several bugs on the site, most can be dealt with at this point.

The biggest ones are:
The "Make Primary" button does not work when selecting your primary club. This no longer effects me (after another long ordeal), but I have club members that can't select the primary club when they belong to 2 or more.

We need the "365 Stats" back for chairman on the member list. It told us how many rounds were played with a member as well as T scores in the last 365 days. How else can we see if someone played with a member? (Looking through someone's score is not really an option.)

We can't list anything other than a vTour on our club calendars anymore. Forget meetings, important dates, and other events at this point. We can't even list a physical golf event.

As I always say, I'll stop now.

I have not aired too many of the items on any forum, understanding IT and small business. I think people just feel there is no where else to turn.

I would like to know how to remove the auto-renewal from my account. I would prefer to just pay when its time if I decide to renew. Thanks!

I've fixed the Primary Button. I'll look into the 365 Stats column this weekend. The club calender may take a while longer as it is on a completely new schema.

Hmmm, still not working for me. The Philly #13 club, which I want as primary, shows me as a trial member and wants me to pay for membership again. I am a paid site member at this time, but my auto-renew was cancelled at my request. (I also like to decide when and if I want to pay) Don't know if this has anything to do with the problem.

Thanks for all your efforts!

I checked again, and the code was not moved to production. That's what I get for coding @ midnight. It should be updated now.

In regards to your membership, the new database is programmed to have membership types for each club, not system-wide membership types like it was before.

This is now in-line with how it is in the real world when you buy a club membership at your local golf club. So, if you want to be a member of two golf clubs, you would need to have 2 memberships.

Previously, we allowed members to join many clubs, without specifying a primary, which caused some members to get their new primary set to a club they didn't want.

Duck, if you could, please post your Browser information and OS here so I can look to see if we advanced more than your machine is capable.
