The top 100 members do get a free membership.
I have updated your records until Jan. 1, 2013. You got an email b/c your accounts are handled manually and not automatically renewed. We were off Jan 1st and 2nd. I apologize for the inconvenience... You guys are so dramatic. :-) |

Good for them! What about the rest of us? Do we renew for free, if we have been a free member, or will there be a charge? Stays the same. Free for community and score posting only. $29.95/y for a licensed USGA Handicap Index, no ads, and premium forums. |

Thanks for addressing this Chase. Some of us (like me) are wondering how we know if we're in the "top 100 members' or not, since I'm not sure exactly how and when this is/was defined. Can you shed some light on that?

I'm glad I didn't spend 30,000 Stracka points to get a New Membership for this year since I'm in the Top 100, I would have felt stupid.... Oh wait... I DID SPEND 30,000 POINTS for a Membership.... Nice communication!!!!

At least it was points - I paid cold hard cash :( Haven't heard any response on why some got charged in the top 100 and some were comp'd - kinda' sucks but oh well am paid through this year, removed my auto-renewal and will look for other options for next. We still need to play golf in 2012 man! |

Some of us (like me) are wondering how we know if we're in the "top 100 members' or not From HOME go to My Profile - then on the left in the black bar you will see Wall of Legends - click on that and it shows you the users with 50,000+ activity points. At the top you will see Click Here in red to see the top 100 active users - click and see where you are in the list. |

I'm obviously familiar with the Almost Legions list as I've been zipping up it, but it wasn't obvious to me that this is what Chase meant by "the top 100 members". Do the Legions get some consideration then? How do you know this as I haven't been able to find a place that talks about this stuff? |
