My favorite is "Hammer" Wolf.

Wolf is a betting game or points game for a group of four players.

Players rotate being the "Wolf." The player designated as the "Wolf" gets to choose whether to play the hole 1 against 3 (himself against the other three players in the group) or 2 on 2.

And if the Wolf chooses to play 2 on 2, he must choose his partner immediately following that player's drive. Example: Player A is the Wolf. Player B hits a bad drive. Player C hits a pretty good drive. If the Wolf wants C as a partner, he must claim his partner before Player D hits his tee ball.

The side with the lowest better ball score wins the hole. If it's 2 on 2, then the winning side wins the bet. If it's 1 on 3, the Wolf wins double or loses double.

There's also Lone Wolf, in which the Wolf announces before anyone tees off - including himself - that he's going it alone, 1 on 3.

The "Hammer" is when at any time a team "hammers" the other team... if they accept the hammer, the bet is doubled, or they can decline to forfeit the original bet. Teams can hammer each other back and forth, but not twice in a row.

David, Skin's game was a Jack Nicklaus, developed for TV back in the early 80's, concept It pitted 4 golfer vying for skins where it required one golfer to beat the other three to win the skin. If two or more golfer tied for the low score on the hole the skin was tied and carried over to the next hole, the next hole would then be worth two skins. That carry over was progressive until the skin was won in which case the skin value would revert to one. The one with the most total skins would be the winner. Variations where different holes are worth different amounts of money have made it sometimes that the money is used to declare the winner. Additional applications of the skins game are used where many golfer often in different fore-somes compete for skins. It is essentially a form of gambling where the single low score on any given hole wins the money.

Skins, with a few twists.
Winner with a par could take up to 3 previous tie, birdie or better could take all previous tie, Boogie could only take 1 hole ( does not happen often ).
KP need to be a par or better to claim.
All birdie add one skin, eagle add 3 skins regardless of tie hole or not.
