Does anyone use JumboMax Grips? If so, how do they work for you. I currently have some golfpride grips, however I think I may be developing or have tendonitis symptoms in my left hand. If anyone has these grips or knows someone who has them, lets hear your take.

Thanks addictedtugolf. I will check that out. I was definitely going to try it out on one club on a round.

Spiko, I didn't know that bit of info. I don't hVe at hook problem at all, just my hands are acting up & my left elbow. I switched my SC putter grip to a jumbo & had success with that. I just wanted to see if anyone on here has had any success like addictedtugolf has with larger grips.

I have a buddy that uses the Jumbo Max grips. But he got them because he is 6' 6" and the other grips are like tooth picks in his hands. But when I tried them out, I would think that if you are starting to hand problems, the could possibly help you some.
I would advise you to get one on a club that will get some use and try it out before you make the entire set commitment. I hope it helps ....

You may also try (in addition to a larger grip size) a more "rough" grip, something with some cord in it. The extra friction will lessen the amount of strength required to grip the club solidly.

Unless your hands are extremely big, though, I don't know if it's the grip size alone that's causing the problems. If you use the wrong PARTS of the hand to apply the pressure, you can run into issues both with hand trouble and shot control!

My game has improved with the Golf Pride Jumbo Oversized. That said I am 6'6" tall and have large hands. And you ladies know what that means ?????

A great fellow straka instructor im'd me & he walked me through the different types of grips & it worked once I switched my grip. Knowledge is power. The grip I was using was causing tension in my hands & after switching to a neutral position I did not have that feeling swinging my club tonight. Yes I hit floppy balls at full speed & full swing indoors & the balls were going straight. I would suggest any golfer to at least try the flopptballs.com I'm not a sales person just a customer passing on info.

I am experiencing arthritis in three joints on my right hand. In addition to a little tape over the joints, I switched to oversize grips. I think the oversize grips have made a big difference. Now those joints are not hurting as much after a round or two. Good luck.
