I see that mtags got himself a new putter (an Odyssey Versa #7 if I am not mistaken).

I too just recently got a new putter: an Odyssey Versa #2 (blade, BWB) with a Slim 3.0 Superstroke fat grip and a shaft that's 1 inch shorter than my previous one, at 34". I have been gaming it twice and already made 6 long putts (2 of them for birdies) and plenty of short ones. It probably saved me 8-10 strokes so far, in 2 rounds! :)

What about you? Did you get a new putter for Christmas (or just recently)? How has your game improved with it? Curious minds want to know...

Still Waiting for my New Scotty Putter.

That's a beauty, Daniel. But that's in the eye of the beholder, as you know. Good luck with it!

I want Mark's putter.

You can't have it. I'm not letting go of it. :-)

And why would you? It never 3-putts. That one has some kind of magic juju...

Still have same putter I used in high school. Ping Alley 2. Love it.

Great, a really long term relationship with a putter is fairly rare. My previous one lasted for about 10 years, but we grew apart. (I am talking about the putter here...)

Scotty Scameran.

Everything's an illusion.......

Except the cash to pay for it. That is real! :)

Have an Odyssey White Hot Tour #1 putter which feels and sounds great. Besides why would I want any other putter when I get to hold this beauty in my hands on every green.

Sweet! But aren't you looking at her upside down? :)

Won't know how mine works for a really long time, unless I travel some place warm in the next 3 1/2 months . :-(

I am really sorry to hear that. But, by proxy, my Odyssey Versa works really well, so yours should work too. :) Good luck and be patient.

Just picked up a Ping Ansr 5 for myself. Tried putters out for two hours and I kept coming back to this one.

This putter is very similar to my ping Scottsdale pickup up. So it should be good.

I change putters like underware, maybe that's why I suck on the dance floor.

It'll take a bigger man with more guns to ever make me part with my Scotty.

I didn't mention that my previous putter was a Scotty, but it was. And it's not coming back into my bag any time soon... I think, maybe. :)

Yup! You have a very good incentive to keep your head down, and not peak too soon! :)

I played another round, and made another long (30ft or so) putt for birdie. I did 3-putt an 80 footer... So far, after 4 rounds, I had 29 putts 3 times and the other was 30. So I think this is a keeper! :)
