Is it just me? I see that all the stats of the rounds posted by my friends and myself, even going back some time, are now all wrong: things like 350 putts and 64 penalties, and a number of greens in regulation (green circles) that doesn't match the GIR% stat, etc... Do you see the same thing? Is this site finally completely broken?...

I'm seeing the same, using Chrome browser. Can someone in Houston go to this address and strangle the first person that answers?
GolfNet 12337 Jones Rd # 311 Houston, TX 77070 No damn monitoring of this site any longer. As long as they get their money to keep everyone's handicap, they're happy. Screw the social side of the site. |

Not just the stats that are out of whack. The photo stream also. It makes me look fat.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing and posted a "technical issue" request but have not yet heard back... guess I need to work on my putting because 32 putts on a par 3 is just plain awful ;)

Yes it's across the board. In my last round I got 32 penalties on each hole. :-)

Is it me, or are the fairways backwards? Like when you put in a miss left, it comes on the card as a miss right?

I too have submitted a support ticket. Some but not all stats got fixed. Now have submitted another support ticket.

I put a support ticket in about not having any statistics prior to mid 2015 and back. They say it's a known issue that they are working on. No ETA. If it does not get fixed it's my last year on this site.

If it does not get fixed it's my last year on this site. It's not so much a "known" issue as it is a "non" issue to them. Told them their fairway misses right and left are backwards about a week ago. Still not fixed. Kinda tough to keep putting Band-Aids on things when you're using technology from 2003 that can't be updated because it's so out of date. |

In the case of backwards fairway stats, it's not an issue of technology. These were correct a couple of weeks or so ago, before it all went bonkers. They had to have changed something pretty drastically to make that snafu occur, and when they fixed it, they weren't careful enough so the fairway stats were now backwards. The problem as you say, is that they don't care, at all. It is just good enough for them. Btw, the thing that is breaking the camel's back with me is that they had the gall to send me an email asking me to oppose the decision by the USGA and the R&A to put some serious limitations on the green reading books, and of course Strackaline (i.e. USHandicap, aka Jim Straka) stands a lot to loose. I responded with a piece of my mind, and it wasn't kind... |

These were correct a couple of weeks or so ago, before it all went bonkers. .... they had the gall to send me an email asking me to oppose the decision by the USGA and the R&A to put some serious limitations on the green reading books, and of course Strackaline ... The fairway stats are displayed incorrectly, but they do appear to be correct in the database - here is why I believe that - when I enter missed left, it shows missed right. So I keep entering stats the way they are, not the way they are displayed. I think the real issue is, I doubt they have much of a development/tech team anymore for USHandicap. The site is written in OLD ASP running on Windows 2003 or at best, Windows 2008 server. This means they can't patch it, they can't update it, and the hardest part, it's very difficult to port old code quickly to work on a newer version of IIS/ASP. If they can't resolve the stats reporting issue in a day, they have no development staff and they're outsourcing everything at best. |
