Did anyone else see the 8-hole sudden death playoff between veteran Robert Allenby and John Huh, rookie making a name for himself?
What a match.

John Huh actually had several chances to end the playoff. Maybe it was the rookie in him that made hime miss from within 4ft. It took a mistake from Allenby on the 8th playoff hole for Huh to seal the deal and become a winner for the 1st time on tour with just 5 starts under his belt.

We might just be seeing his name a lot. Could even be rookie of the year plus player of the year. He has had some amazing start to his 1st year.

Wish I would of. Had to be more interesting than the Rory / Hunter match I saw. I got some good napping time in on that one.

Hell the match between Wilson and Westwood was better. And yes it was more interesting. That kid has some game to go toe to toe with someone that doesn't get nervous. Huh was only 1yrs old when Allenby got his 1st win on tour.

Yeah...I saw Paul Stankowski tweeting the play by play but couldn't find it on tv.

I didn't plan on watching it, but Rich Lerner said it was unbelievable on Golf Central so I decided to watch it. Was really amazing. Allenby did a less significant Kyle Stanley and doubled 18 and then that playoff took forever. Was LMFAO when ? missed his birdie putt from 3 feet midway through the playoff right after missing a hole in one by just a couple of inches. Good win for ? though. Only ?'s 5th career start on the big boys tour and he's won. Played well in San Diego and Phoenix as well. Hopefully he wins a major this year and all the newspapers headlines can say, "Huh?"

I had to try hard to stay awake. That's a theme with the championship match though I've found. Only 2 guys playing with no chance of something like a 5 shot swing bringing 8 guys in the tournament is uneventful. The tournament is more interesting for me on Wednesday to see who gets upset more than who actually wins.

Allenby has been out there for a long time and has won some tournaments, I was shocked at how cautious they were being. The Huh kid had a green light 9 iron and he hit it 40 ft. right. Should have been 2 holes, get up there and hit it if you never take chances how will you ever succeed at anything?
