After much deliberation, I am declaring my official Vice Presidents Cup round at Legacy Golf Links on Friday, Sept 29th. We play there twice on the same day, so I declare the first (morning) round. (I'll be pooped and probably drunk by the 2nd round) Thank you Big Brian for making a special Hurricane Irma accommodation for this flight. You are awesome and I will have Don bring you back a poker chip for your courtesy. Well it's good you decided on the first round there. The 2nd would disqualify you for playing a "practice" round the same day on the same course prior to the tournament. I would waive disqualification if he declared the second round based on the BAC at tee off time of round 2.... |

Before or Between Rounds a. Match Play On any day of a match-play competition, a player may practice on the competition course before a round. b. Stroke Play Before a round or play-off on any day of a stroke-play competition, a competitor must not practice on the competition course or test the surface of any putting green on the course by rolling a ball or roughening or scraping the surface. When two or more rounds of a stroke-play competition are to be played over consecutive days, a competitor must not practice between those rounds on any competition course remaining to be played, or test the surface of any putting green on such course by rolling a ball or roughening or scraping the surface. Exception: Practice putting or chipping on or near the first teeing ground or any practice area before starting a round or play-off is permitted. Penalty for Breach of Rule 7-1b: Disqualification. |

Wow! Totally forgot about this: is it too late for a guy not affected by the hurricanes to post a round? I am playing tomorrow 9/29 at Sunnyvale Muni and declaring that if I can. If not, I declare that I am sorry to let my coastal team down.
