Anyone know if there are any amateur tournaments in West Michigan?

Hey all glad to join. I have played a little golf in West Michian but hope to play more. I just moved to Battle Creek, MI 2 years ago. I do love 1000 oaks and the Ravines in West Michigan.

I typically play at Winding Creek Golf Club in Holland MI. It is mutually owned by the same people at Chase Hammond Golf Club in Muskegon. It is a fair course, not too challenging and definitely not high end, but decent.

Last night was the last night of my golf league and my partner and I took home the title! Great night for BogeyMan!

I played Diamond Springs GC in Hamilton, MI last night. They are one of the best values that I have found in the area. Greens fees are under $40 for 18 with a cart, and you can often find coupons for two for one greens fees in the Dutch Deals, or Golf Michigan coupon books. Enjoy...

Welcome Ace!

Do you play for GVSU? I've never played that Meadow before. How is it?

Welcome all to my group. Let's get this thing started.

I recently played Hawkshead Links in South Haven, MI. It is a great course and worth the greens fees of $70. The front 9 is more wooded and the back 9 more links style. This is a classic West Michigan course.

Tee shots are key on this course as you can get into trouble quickly on this course. The hardest part about the course for me was the narrow approaches to the greens.

I shot an 87. My favorite holes were#7 and #15.
