Heff, any golf plans for a 2016 NGT, in the Phoenix area?

Hello, Ya'll..just to let you know I, GOT MY 1ST HOLE IN ONE! TODAY
4-26-2015, 12:20,AT BATTLEGROUND HOLE 3 / PAR 3 / 106 YARDS, HIT AN 9-IRON, INTO A 20MPH HEADWIND...HIGH BALL HITS THE GREEN AND HOPS UP IN THE AIR INTO THE HOLE! OMG! I, WAS SO STUNNED! A GOOD THING THAT MY FRIENDS, MARK AND CASSEY WERE THERE TO SEE IT!

Ok Everyone,

I'm brand new to the state....hell, I'm brand new to the west all the way from PA and I have no clue where to golf. Its not that I can't find a course to play cuz I'd be blind if I said that....but this new state has brought a bit of culture shock for me with regard to prices. Back east I used to play the top of the line courses for like $40 a round....not the case here :- (

I also learned that it isn't typical to go out and play 9 holes, thats strange to me. Anyway, where I'll ask a favor of the members of this group, I love the game, shoot ok (17-18 hcap), and don't give a crap if I know who I'm playing with. I live in Anthem,AZ and could use some advice on where to play and also see if anyone is interested meeting up at some of the local tracks for a round with a newbie to desert golf. Thanks

I haven't played much because I've been extremely busy at work lately, but I'll be playing at the Phoenician next week and at The Foothills on the 23rd. Hey everyone. There is a new Club that has been created to make your handicaps official for people in our area. We currently have 4 memebers, and need 10 plus a handicap chairman to make this official.
