played the back 9 6/7. ruts from offseason tree removal have been graded out, otherwise what you'd pretty much expect at keney. still offering the $10 twilight rate. easiest days to work around afternoon leagues are mon. & fri.

despite what the Corona sign pictured below left says, Keney is open! Reason the sign was probably there was because they took a lot of trees down over the winter and there are still a lot of heavy equipment ruts on the course; the upside, great free lift opportunities for "ground under repair" and they're only charging $10 to walk 9.

drove through keney today...as opposed to doing a drive by. shaping up nicely for a late march round. used tires piled next to the access road, yellow police tape; everything you'd expect from keney and much, much less. if the pins were in, i'd have jumped all over it! come to think of it, that shouldn't have deterred me.

not sure why the Great Room wasn't open on an evening when there were leagues on the course, but it was very disappointing.

greens look like they're in better shape than they have been in recent memory, which made them deceptively slow. course review on goat-track.com
