So I finally bit the bullet and put the Callaway Tour ix ball in my bag for the first half of this year. I have been a ProV1x guy for a few years now, and thought I'd see what Callaway has to offer now that they have had a few years in the high performance ball market. I found my drives, and Irons similar, if not a bit longer to the ProV. If anything they felt crisper/firmer than the Titleist. I didn't see any difference in spin or accuracy. However, around the green, and putting, they felt MUCH harder. For putting and chipping, I found the ProV1 FAR superior. Anyone else have the same experience?ow that they have had a few years in the high performance ball market. I found my drives, and Irons similar, if not a bit longer to the ProV. By the way, I just ordered my new (used) FT Hybrid. Hopefully it will get here early Friday so I can use it Friday after work when I play.

Check out the Golf Channel offer. I'm going to go to my local Sports Authority and demo the Diablo driver so I can enter the sweepstakes. $50,000 baby!!! Who knows, maybe I'll like it so much I buy it instead of the FT-9 I have been drooling over. instead of the FT-9 I have been drooling over.

Callaway has done it again. The X-22 Tours play as well as the X-Tour that I traded them for without sacrificing feel or distance, yet giving a little more forgiveness. They just keep improving on great products. I can't wait to get my hands on a new hybrid.at products. I can't wait to get my hands on a new hybrid.

    AAARRGGGHHH!!!!

Callaway installed the wrong shafts in my new X-22 tour irons that arrived today. I hope I don't have to wait another 3-4 weeks for the right ones to come in.

Callaway has released their '09 line of equipment. Notable additions this year are the new FT-iQ, FT-9 and Diablo drivers, Diablo fairway woods and hybrids, The X-22, and X-22 Tour irons, as well as revamps of the X-forged line including a new look for the X-forged irons and new options on the X-forged wedges.
Anyone who has had a chance to demo, or has already put one, or all (if you are that lucky), of the new Callaway equipment in their bag, please feel free to write a review, share a memorable experience, or give a recommendation. With this being an "on" year for Callaway releases, we should have plenty to talk about. Thanks!
